"Cookies" are files, which allow CalSTRS to keep track of an
authenticated customer while he/she is logged into a secure
area of the site. Our ability to detect the cookie we have
stored on your computer allows you to move easily from page
to page within secure sections without having to log-in each
time you make a new inquiry or transaction request. The cookie
we store on your computer contains nothing more than a unique
identifier that we can check to verify that you are the only
one accessing your secure session.
