| Summary:
Provides a two-year limit on an existing exemption for
retired DB Program members who fill a vacant administrative
position; and extends from July 1, 2000, to January 1,
2004, the date a member must retire by to qualify for
an existing exemption to provide direct remedial instruction.
Additionally, extends from January 1, 2000, to January
1, 2004, the date a member must retire by to qualify
for an existing exemption to provide direct classroom
instruction for grades K-12; includes members who provide
instruction in special education and English language
learner programs; and, extends the sunset date from
July 1, 2005, to January 1, 2008. |
