Carolyn Widener is an English professor at West Los Angeles College, executive vice president

Jack O'Connell served for two decades in the California State Legislature representing the
Central Coast before serving as California's 26th State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Prior to his state service,
he taught at his high school alma mater and later served on the Santa Barbara County School Board.
