ADA Grievances

If you have a complaint alleging that CalSTRS is non-compliant with Part 35 of Chapter 1 of Title 28 of the Code of Federal Regulations (Part 35) or took an action that is prohibited by Part 35, the Grievance Procedure is to:

  1. Complete the ADA Grievance Form addressing the ADA Coordinator; or
  2. Submit a written complaint to the ADA Coordinator at the address below.

The ADA Coordinator will coordinate the investigation and promptly and equitably resolve the complaint, issuing a written decision to the complainant within 30 working days from the date of receipt of the complaint. In the event more time is required to issue a decision, the ADA Coordinator will notify the complainant in writing. Appeals shall be filed with the Chief Administrative Officer and sent to the address below.
