This report provides information on CalSTRS’ funding risk profile to help educate the board and stakeholders on risks inherent in the funding of CalSTRS.
The report is prepared on an annual basis and serves as a tool to assist board members in making future decisions related to how the assets of CalSTRS are invested and to the actuarial methods and assumptions that are best suited to ensure proper funding.
