Guidelines for service of process

Post

Due to recent state and local stay-at-home orders issued by government authorities as a result of COVID-19, access to CalSTRS headquarters and member service centers is restricted at this time. Accordingly, CalSTRS is providing the following instructions to allow for mail and electronic service of process, where applicable.

Please read the following processes carefully, as failure to follow these guidelines may result in service of process not being received or accepted in a timely manner and may result in invalid service of process.
