Take part in CalSTRS’ Spring Into Retirement event March 22–April 8, 2021 by enrolling in any of three educational webinars. The webinars will help you understand your CalSTRS benefits, save additional retirement income, decide if it’s a good time to retire, learn how to fill out and submit your Service Retirement Application, and know what to expect in retirement.

Attend one or more of these webinars:

• Online Service Retirement Application Demonstration: A CalSTRS benefits specialist will walk you through how to use your myCalSTRS account to complete and submit your Service Retirement Application online, as well as show you how to update your one-time death benefit recipient.
  Submitting your application online using myCalSTRS is faster than submitting a physical copy.
• Paper Service Retirement Application Demonstration: A benefits specialist will walk you through how to complete and submit a paper version of the Service Retirement Application and show you how to update your one-time death benefit recipient.
  If you submit a paper application between April 1 and July 31, processing times may be longer than during nonpeak months.
  Eligible CalSTRS members can file a Service Retirement Application up to six months in advance of their requested retirement date.
• Spring Into Retirement With Pension2®: Learn how saving a little money today can result in a big benefit by the time you’re ready to retire. Even if you already have a retirement savings account, the CalSTRS Pension2 program may provide you with a greater retirement income, allowing you to afford the retirement you desire.
