Annual Contribution Limit for 403(b) and 457(b) Accounts Increases in 2012

What's New

The IRS has raised the annual contribution limit for 403(b), 457(b) and 401(k) retirement plan accounts to $17,000 for 2012, an increase of $500 over the previous limit.

The additional catch-up contribution limit for those who are at least age 50 as of December 31, 2012, remains unchanged at $5,500. To learn more, visit the IRS website.
