On February 16, 2024, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that Kenneth “Ken” Tang, of Alhambra, and Karen Yamamoto, of Sacramento, have been reappointed to the California State Teachers’ Retirement Board. 

Their new term dates are February 16, 2024 through December 31, 2027.
